History of the company - TANDLER

Gears and gearboxes since 1949

Back in 1949, Siegfried F. Tandler founded a gear wheel manufacturer, which has since been renamed TANDLER Zahnrad- und Getriebefabrik. Today not only gear wheels but also gearboxes are manufactured for special machinery, i. e. ServoFoxx®, spiral bevel and speed modulation gearboxes.

Furthermore, the production of high precision products requires quality heat treatment that is fulfilled in the own heat treatment plant, Härterei TANDLER, which became a separate company in 1999.

In order to react to the rising demand in gear wheels, Siegfried F. Tandler bought the gear manufacturer Kutz & Schulze Haerterei- und Zahnradtechnik GmbH & Co. KG, Hamburg, in 1977.

Today, TANDLER and all the other above-mentioned company still belong to the Tandler family and are directed by Gert S. Tandler, the son of Siegfried F. Tandler.
